Assembly
Assembly is conducted for students from Monday to Saturday
from 08.45am to 09.00am. The School/House Captain along with
the House Master will conduct the proceedings of the Assembly
with different activities like news reading, quiz, peptalk, corrective
english and thought for the day, which aim at preparing the children
to express themselves freely. The principal’s presence at this hour
is to synchronize the day to day activity of the school curriculum.
House System
With an idea of developing home environment and creating team
spirit amidst the students on roll, House system is implemented
and put into practice at all levels of competitions organised based
on class of study.
Competitions in curricular & co-curricular activities, sports and games
and other school activities as deemed fi t, are conducted class-wise
taking into consideration the height, weight and age group level. The
class teachers will ensure that the class-representatives/monitors
along with the class students will undertake the weekly schedule of
class display boards and involve the maximum number of students’
participation for the purpose.
Tests and Exams
Since evaluation forms a part of the curriculum, the students are
subjected to continuous assessment at ifferent levels and at
different periods of the academic year.
Study Material
Printed study material will be supplied class-wise so as to gain time
in preparation and practice. IIT study material in Maths, Physics and
Chemistry also will be supplied to the students of classes V-IX.
Awards and Prizes
Students exhibiting outstanding performance in academic and
non-academic curriculum are awarded prizes from time to time as
a token of appreciation and encouragement.
Dress Code
All the students should wear the prescribed uniform in proper style
and pattern on all working/celebration days of the school. The
students reporting to classes in improper uniform will be turned
out and action will be initiated accordingly.
Uniform
Top: Fawn coloured full sleeved shirt with blazer on Mondays and
Fridays.Half sleeved shirts with multi coloured stripes on other
days.
Bottom: Steel blue coloured trousers/ skirts.
- All girls will plait their hair into two locks and knot them with ribbons.
DO’S AND DON’TS FOR STUDENTS
The following will be the parameters to enforce discipline in the
school. Any deviation from them will be viewed seriously.
- Punctuality & regularity in attending school should be maintained.
Boys/girls should reach the school atleast ten minutes before
the commencement of the assembly.
- All fees pertaining to the class of study is to be paid within the
stipulated time. Parents/guardians failing to remit the fees within 15 days after the despatch of a reminder from the offi ce will entail
for the forfeiture of their ward’s candidature.
- Wearing of golden bangles/chains/anklets or any other valuable
ornaments on the campus is strictly forbidden.
- Pupils should submit the assessments & projects to the teacher
regularly and in time.
- Students are advised to attend the classes/assessment tests/
unit tests/fi nal exams punctually.
- No student will absent himself/herself from attending the
school tests and exams on any pretext without obtaining a prior
permission from the principal.
- All the students should put-in a minimum of 90% attendance
during the academic year.
- Students facing inconvenience of any nature (academic/
administrative) may lodge a complaint with the principal, who in
turn will take necessary steps to set the matters right. Complaints
register is available with Principal & Reception.
- Every student is expected to take part in all the co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities as a part of his/her civic training.
Admissions
The students seeking admission have to submit the following
documents and pay the fees as specifi ed. Mere appearing/qualifying
in the scholarship/screening/aptitude test is no guarantee for
admission unless and otherwise all the requirements are fulfilled.
Certifi cates to be submitted at the time of admission.
- Transfer certifi cate (of the previous class of study) in original with a xerox copy.
- Birth Certificate (from M.R.O. / competent authority) in original.
- Study-cum-conduct certifi cate (of the previous class of study) in original.
- Progress Report (of the previous class of study) in original with a xerox copy.
- Five recent passport size & two stamp size photographs of the student.
