Career Objective
J.K.C. Jawahar Knowledge centre is established in the college during the year 2006-07. Students are imported training in job related skills to enhance their employability through this centre. Some of the students of this college have utilized this opportuni9ty and got jobs in Satyam Computers, Infosis, Wipro and other organizations.
Well Equipped Laboratory:
Spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Botany and Zoology are well furnished with the necessary apparatus. In view of the importance of practical science in the advanced studies, special care is taken to impart practical expertise and knowledge to the students.
Hostel, the Human Touch:
Hostel facility is provided to the students with spacious clean and well ventilated rooms to stay. Educated matrons take care of each and every student with utmost care, love and affection. Round the clock security makes it a safe stay. Regular health check up is done by expert doctors. Homely meals are served to keep the students healthy.
Hi-Tech Computer Lab:
- Well established spacious computer lab with sufficient number of systems.
- Each system has a 15-inch colour monitor and has a configuration of 40GB Hard Disk, 256 MB RAM and Pentium-III processor.
- 24 hours lab facility under the guidance of expert faculty members.
- Each student is provided with a system.
- Extreme care is taken to make each student feel the practical examinations easy.
Internet Facility:
“A Computer is an interface where the mind and body can connect with the universe and move bits of it about”.
Keeping in view of the significance of internet in the present world every student is given an opportunity for free and exclusive internet accessing once in a week.
Library:
A well stocked library which contains the recommended text books in the concerned subjects long with other books for extra reference. Popular News magazines, daily news papers and Books of General Knowledge useful for competitive examinations will be made available to the students.
Students can avail themselves of the facility of lending books from the library from time to time. Reading Room is associated with the library to facilitate the students to spend their leisure time in reading.
Bus Facility:
For the convenience of our students and to maintain punctuality we take case of Conveyance facility to our students. Our institution runs its buses connecting all the major routes of the town to ensure an easy approach to our students.
Clinic:
Our campus has a fully equipped clinic with a qualified equipped clinic with a qualified doctor and couple of attendants to take care of the general health of the students from time to time. A 24 hour special van is also available to manage emergencies. We give special diet regimen prescribed by doctors for available to manage emergencies. Study Hours:
During the night, study hours will be conducted for the hostellers under the personal vigilance of Director Mr. V. Narender Reddy with a purpose to improve the academic performance of the students. Day scholars can also avail themselves of the facility to attend the night study hours by taking special permission provided they arrange for themselves to and fro conveyance.
Scholarships
The following scholarships are available to the students according to their eligibility.
- Social welfare and Tribal welfare scholarships for SC, ST & BC students.
- Scholarship for Physically Handicapped Students.
- Merit Scholarship as per the Government rules stipulated for meritorious candidates.
- National loan scholarship.
If any scholarship holder puts in less than 75% of attendance, proportionate amount will be deducted from the scholarship and will be refunded to the Treasury.
