RULES FOR ADMISSION INTO VARIOUS COURSES

1. Candidates seeking admission to Ist year of B.Sc/B.Com Courses must have passed the intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or any other examinations recognized by Kakatiya University as equivalent thereto.
   
   
2. The candidate applying for different groups, should submit separate application forms for each combination.
   
   
3. Application form duly filled in should be submitted in the college office.
   
   
4. The application form and prospectus can be had form the office.
   
   
5. Copies of the following certificates should be enclosed along with the application form.
   
   
• Memo. Of marks.
• Transfer Certificate (Original)
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Study certificate / Local candidate certificate
• Six Pass port size Photos.
• Caste certificate if they belong to B.C/S.C/S.T.

6. Candidates seeking admission to the Ist year science group, should have obtained not less then 40% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in the corresponding optional subjects.  However this does not apply to the candidates belonging to S.C/S.T.
   
7. Candidates who have passed Vocational Course, seeking admission to science group should wait for confirmation of their admission from the University.
   
   
8. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in a medium other than English are also eligible for studying English Medium if they secure 40% marks in English at Intermediate level.
   
   
9. List of selecte4d candidates will be displayed as per the University schedule on the college notice board.
   
   
10. The college reserves the right to cancel the admission of ta candidate if it is found against the rules and regulations of the University and the Government at any stage.
    
    
11. The selection will be made purely on merit basis.  Preference will be given to those candidates who have passed in one attempt.

RULES OF DISCIPLINE

Discipline is the breath of our Institution After getting admission into our institution, students have to follow the rules of discipline scrupulously.

1. Alphores Womens Degree College is purely an academic institution.  As such no student should resort to political groupism.
   
   
2. Every student must attend the college with her identity card.
   
   
3. Cell phones, Cameras & objectionable electronic goods are not allowed in to the college premises.  If they are found they will be confiscated and will not be returned back
   
   
4. If a student comes to the college 10 minutes late, she will not be allowed in to the class room.
   
   
5. Students must appear for all tests and Examinations conducted by the college.  Otherwise she will not be allowed to attend the classes.
   
   
6. Students are not permitted to leave the institution during instructional hours.  If they have any urgency, they must approach either the principal or the correspondent and submit representation to that effect.
   
   
7. Students should maintain punctuality, regularity and perfect silence in the class room.  There should be no complaint from any lecturer about their conduct and behavior.
   
   
8. Students should not loiter about in the surroundings of the college during instructional hours.  If they are found roaming in the surroundings of the institution they will have to undergo punishment.
   
9. A discipline committee is constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University. Even a small incident of misconduct is dealt with immediate and appropriate action initiated against the erring individual.
   
   
10. Any student falling short of attendance will be detained as per University rules.
    
    
11. The Principal and the Management are empowered to formulate any other rules in the larger interest of the institution from time to time. Students are advised to follow such rules and help for the smooth running of the college.
